About me

Bio

Hi, I'm Joe. I'm a speculative designer and creative technologist interested in how environmental histories and futures shape our understanding of and interactions with the natural world. I explore this topic through writing, filmmaking, creative coding and more.

Alongside my personal practice, I am a design research developer at the Institute for Design Informatics (University of Edinburgh). In this role, I work in collaboration with academic colleagues to design and build workshops, artefacts and software, which are used within research projects.
